Children’s Day is just around the corner. Are you thinking of places that you can bring your kids to for a good family bonding time?


From places to shop at to indoor playgrounds, we have got you covered! Here are some suggested places:


Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ)

After the major construction happening over the last few years, PLQ has finally opened its doors to the public! There are many new and exciting eateries that you can bring your kids to for a treat and also a brand-new indoor playground! The playground has a foam pit, ball pit, slides, a race car track and many other elements. Other than a play area for kids, there will also be activities organised regularly to encourage parent-child bonding.

Westgate

Located in Jurong Gateway, Westgate is a premier family and lifestyle mall that offers a great shopping experience just for you and your family. Not only does the mall have many popular brands, there are stores catered specially for kids as well! After shopping, you can even visit Westgate Wonderland, a large thematic outdoor playground with a 10-metre tall tree house and a huge watering can that your kids will enjoy.

Mainland Tropical Fish Farm

Looking for a simple activity that can keep your kids occupied for the whole day? Mainland Tropical Fish Farm, an old-school fish farm that your kids will get a brand-new experience! Within the farm, there are a few outdoor ponds and fish tanks. Other than walking around to learn about different species of fish, kids are able to feed fishes and even challenge themselves at longkang fishing. What a simple activity but great activity to keep them entertained!

Admiralty Park Playground

One of the largest parks in the north of Singapore, Admiralty Park is a pocket-friendly place you can consider. The park is split into three main areas that have sandpits, rock walls and many slides. In order to encourage family bonding, one of the play areas, Junior Play has climbing frames where parents can join their kids and even a family slide that is wide enough to cater to a family of four to slide down together. However, should you decide to visit, do remember sunscreens, hats and water!

KidZania

Designed just for children, KidZania is an indoor theme park that provides interactive and role-play activities. Kids are able to explore the place independently the entire city that is completed with realistic buildings, streets, vehicles and even a functioning economy. They will be able to try on different careers and learn how to manage their own money. Over in KidZania, kids are encouraged to be anybody they want!
